5Dimes offer several promotions. The offer they are most known for is their reduced juice. On select bets, you can get -105 odds instead of -110. Keep in mind that this is only good for bets up to $500. This will be the default promo for new accounts.
Another option is their 50% new player free play. Make a deposit of $100 to $400 and you’ll get a 50% match (up to $200). If you deposit more – up to $2,000, you can get an additional 20% on what’s extra. The maximum amount you can receive is $520.
The money will be added to your account in 10% increments. Every time you wager the equivalent to your deposit, 10% will be added to your account.
The last promo worth mentioning is their cashback rewards. This option will get you up to 20% of your losses back, depending on how often you ask for it. Wait six months and get 20% cash back. Wait one month and get 15%, or 10% on a weekly basis. We’ve been told this is a much better option for frequent casino players than sports bettors.
Keep in mind that many of their promos are either/or – meaning that if you choose a deposit bonus, chances are you won’t be able to get the cash back and/or reduced juice, and vice versa. So choose carefully.
Like other Bitcoin books, 5Dimes has an automated system, so your funds will hit your account soon after sending.
Here’s another important note. Most casinos and sportsbooks convert Bitcoin to mBTC. But not 5Dimes. Your deposits will be converted to USD. You can deposit anywhere from $100 to $25,000.
Withdrawals (in Bitcoin) are a little more complicated. How much you can withdraw depends on your history. When we reached out for clarification, this is what 5Dimes had to say:
If you EXCLUSIVELY deposited using Bitcoin, there is no limit on the amount you can request as a payout via Bitcoin.
If a player has $10,000 in his account and then makes their first Bitcoin deposit of $100 and then wants a payout, in this case they can only withdraw $100 in Bitcoin; they would have to choose a different method to get the rest of the funds out. But if a player has their account at zero, and deposits $100 in Bitcoin and wins $10,000, then they would be able to withdraw the $10,000 in Bitcoin since the winnings came from the Bitcoin deposit.
Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals are converted to USD using the exchange rate at the moment the deposit or withdrawal is processed.
What they didn’t mention in their email, but do mention in their terms, is that “free” withdrawals are limited to 1 payout every 7 days, up to $1,000.
Other than bet on sports, you can also play in the casino or sit down for a round of poker.
The casino offers all the standard options. You can choose from blackjack, craps, Bitcoin slot games, roulette and more. 5Dimes have a live casino too. Just beware: 5Dimes is one of the only casinos we’ve come across that have terms for professional card counters. If you count cards while playing their live blackjack games, they will close your account and confiscate your winnings.
There’s a poker room too. They’re on the Winning Poker Network, so you shouldn’t expect a ton of traffic. But there’s still more action here than on any other Bitcoin poker site. Besides, the action here will be fishier since many players will be coming from the sportsbook or casino.
